Karan Johar’s Dhadak will make some heartflutter with its bubbly romance

He's here yet again with the upcoming movie Dhadak which is a light-hearted romance-themed movie.

A couple of months ago KJo shared the poster of the movie Dhadak. Ishan and Jhanvi looked completely love-struck and we can't just get enough of this cute-as-a-button couple already! Reportedly, Dhadak is an official remake of award winning Marathi film Sairat. Nagraj Manjule's Sairat which received plaudits was a realistic depiction of the brutality of caste apartheid. In Sairat a spoilt daughter of the wealthy political kingpin falls in love with a lower caste fisher man's boy and the villagers erupt in violence to keep the lovers apart. Frustrated by all the chaos, the lovers flee to a new city for a new life and that's where the tragedy strikes. This story of young love struggling to find happiness despite the harsh social rules was an instant hit across the country.

The filmmakers have already started the first leg shooting of Ishan Khatter and Jhanvi Kapoor starrer Dhadak. Dhadak marks the debut of Jhanvi Kapoor and Ishan Khattar. On this occasion, KJo wrote a heartfelt note for both of them saying, “It’s a new year which means new beginnings and time for new relationship goals. You will face many firsts in 2018 from promotion to paparazzi to link-ups and troll to fame and failures. You are going to see it all. Dear Janhvi and Ishaan, you are going to embark on a new journey of stardom this year. Through all of this, I just want to remind you to not take yourself too seriously and absorb every new experience because these initial days will never come back again. Janhvi, Ishaan your best qualities are that you all are still students. That you both really stand by your beliefs and the fact that you really don't take yourself as seriously as I sometimes think you should. I love the fact that you are still vulnerable and innocent, please hold onto that." Awww.....!!

Karan Johar's Dhadak which is an adaptation of Sairat into the world that he wants to with its own challenges, conflicts, and style will keep us on toes till it's release!
